Pick up and welcome by our tour guide after your arrival in Luangprabang Airport. Transfer to our Hotel in the city for check in and lunch.. Visit National Museum(former Royal Palace), Wat Xieng Thong (the landmark temple of Luangprabang), Wat Visoun(the watermelon stupa temple) and drive out from the city to Ban Xang Khong (the handicraft and mulberry paper village) before walking up 328 steps of Phousi Hill for sunset viewing. Return to your Hotel for a break before enjoying dinner at Boulevard restaurant. Walk to the nearby night market for shopping. |

River Cruise on to Tham Ting (Bhudda Cave), Kwang Si Waterfall (L,D) Take part in the morning Alms offering to the monks right in front of our Hotel. After Breakfast, you will board “Nava Mekong”, the biggest and most comfortable river boat in Luang Prabang. Enjoy a leisurely paced cruise up the Mekong River and peaceful sceneries to Tham Ting (The Buddha Cave, Pak Ou cave), located about 30 Km north of the city at the confluence of the Mekong River and Ou River. The cave is famous for housing Buddha images of varying ages, styles and sizes. A 5-course set lunch consumed by the previous Royal Family will be served on board on the return trip to the city. The journey takes you further to the famous Kwang Si Waterfall where one of the turquoise pools awaits you to take a plunge, also see the Bears at the Bear Rescue Center. On the way back, you will visit Ban Na Uan, a Hmong village which specializes in Handicrafts and textiles sold in the city’s night market. Arrive in Luangprabang in the evening and enjoy a traditional dinner. |

Elephant Village Luangprabang – BKK (L) New!!! Head 25 km south from the city to visit the “Elephant Village”. This private organization rescues elephants from the abusive and dangerous work of the logging industry and gives them a new home working within the ecotourism based community. Located on the bank of Nam Khan River in the middle of lush greens and a traditional village, “Elephant Village” offers a 1 hr. elephant ride on the howdah. Experience a great day along the river amid fields, jungle, and forested mountains in the background as well as assist in preserving the future of Lao elephants. Return to your hotel, lunch and prepare for check-out before transfer to Luangprabang Airport |
