This project was initiated by Lion's Club international to collect used spectacles and redistribute to the less fortunate in Laos, Luang Prabang in 2010.
A total of 3,500 pairs of spectacles have been shipped to Laos, ready to be dispensed to the Local citizens in Luang Prabang after providing them with professional eye testing and examination. We hope that through this activity, we will be able to assist in improving the vision lifestyle of the local citizens as well as promote friendship and the joy of helping others.
If you would like to contribute as a volunteer to this meaningful activity (i.e. as a translator or assistant) Please feel free to contact us at our hotline.

During the first project, we learnt from our experience that the poorest of the people were not able to come to town to get the spectables. Therefore, a second trip was organised by Singapore Polytechnic and us to reach those villages further away from Luang Prabang.
